Harry Edward Kane
England captain Harry Kane is his country's all-time record scorer, Tottenham Hotspur's record goalscorer, and the 2024 European Golden Shoe winner with Bayern Munich.
Biography
Born in Walthamstow in East London, Harry Kane came through Tottenham Hotspur's youth system and persevered through loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City before securing his place in Spurs' starting lineup in 2014-15 under Mauricio Pochettino. Over the next nine seasons, Kane established himself as one of the most prolific and technically complete center-forwards in Premier League history, combining predatory finishing with world-class playmaking and passing range. During his time at Tottenham, Kane captured three Premier League Golden Boots and became the club's all-time top scorer with 280 goals. In August 2023, he joined German heavyweights Bayern Munich in a landmark transfer, shattering records in his debut campaign by scoring 36 league goals to claim the 2023-24 European Golden Shoe. As England captain, Kane won the Golden Boot at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with six goals and led the Three Lions to consecutive UEFA European Championship finals in 2021 and 2024, surpassing Wayne Rooney to become England's all-time leading international goalscorer.
