Biography
Born in Stourbridge, Jude Bellingham entered Birmingham City's academy at age seven and made his senior debut at just 16 years and 38 days, becoming the club's youngest-ever player. His maturity and commanding midfield play earned him a high-profile move to Borussia Dortmund in 2020. In Germany, Bellingham blossomed into an elite box-to-box midfielder, lifting the 2021 DFB-Pokal, captaining the team at 19, and winning the 2022-23 Bundesliga Player of the Season. In July 2023, Bellingham completed a blockbuster transfer to Real Madrid. Handed the iconic number 5 shirt formerly worn by Zinedine Zidane, he produced an astonishing debut season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions, including stoppage-time winners in both Clásicos against Barcelona. He helped Real Madrid win the Supercopa de España, La Liga, and the UEFA Champions League, and was voted La Liga Player of the Season. At international level, Bellingham played a crucial role in England reaching the UEFA Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 finals, famously executing a 95th-minute overhead kick against Slovakia in the Euro 2024 round of 16.
